Ranch Dip/Dressing
1. Delicious Veggie Bars - Place 2 cans crescent
rolls on cookie sheet and press together
to from one crust. Bake at 325 until golden
brown. Let cool. Mix 2 (8oz) cream cheese
and 1 cup sour cream and 3 Tbsp. ranch mix
together. Spread evenly on bread. Place desired
vegetables (finely chopped vegetables- onion,
celery, carrots, squash, broccoli, cauliflower,
bell pepper, etc.) and grated cheese on top
and press lightly. Cut into squares. Refrigerate
until served.
2. Spinach/Ranch Dip- Make Spinach Dip per
directions and add 1 Tbsp. Ranch Mix to it!
3. Ranch Burger - To every 1 lb of hamburger
meat add 1 and 1/2 Tbsp of Ranch Dip/Dressing
Mix. Blend thoroughly and shape into patties.
Grill or oven cook until desired tenderness.
Place on a toasted bun and top with your
favorite toppings.
4. Cheese Pie
3 (8 oz) packages softened cream cheese
1 (4 oz) package Bleu cheese, grated
4 oz Cheddar Cheese, grated
1 cup of Ranch Dip (prepare as instructed)
6-8 different condiments (chopped ripe olives,
nuts, caviar, shrimp, green onions, pimento,
chopped bacon)
In 3 separate bowls, mix 1 package cream
cheese with Bleu cheese, 1 package with Cheddar
cheese, and 1 with Ranch Dip. Layer cheeses
in pie plate starting with Bleu cheese mixture
on bottom, Cheddar in the Middle, and Ranch
on top. Mark off 6-8 sections with a knife
or toothpick and fill each section with the
condiment of your choice. The cheese part
may be made ahead and refrigerated. Add topping
before serving at room temperature. Serve
with crackers.
5. Ranch Meatloaf
1 ½ lbs ground beef
1 egg
¼ cup oatmeal
5 tablespoons ranch seasoning
2 tablespoons + 1 tablespoon ketchup
Cooking spray
Mix all the above together, except the 1
tablespoon of ketchup. Spray loaf pan and
then firmly press mixture into pan. Add 1
tablespoon of ketchup to the top and spread
across mixture. Bake in the oven at 375 for
35-40 minutes. Slice and serve.
6. Salsa Ranch Dressing - Add 1-2 tablespoons
of salsa or taco sauce to the pre-made ranch
dressing mix. AWESOME on salads (fiesta dressing)
and EVEN BETTER on taco salads and tacos.
Instead of using croutons, top with crumbled
tortilla chips!
