Dill Dip
1. Salmon and Dill Spread #1
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 can (6 ounces) chunk-style salmon; drained
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 lemon
1/4 cup shredded carrot
1 tablespoon chopped onion
1-tablespoon Dill Dip Mix
2 medium cucumbers, sliced
Combine cream cheese, salmon, and mayonnaise
and mix well. Juice lemon to measure 2 teaspoons
lemon juice. Zest lemon to measure 1 teaspoon
lemon zest. Add lemon juice, lemon zest,
shredded carrot, onion, and dill mix to mixture;
mix well. Slice cucumbers into 1/4- inch
thick slices. Top each cucumber with 1 tablespoon
of salmon mixture. Top if you like with a
small sprig of fresh dill for garnish. Makes
25 Servings
2. Salmon and Dill Spread #2
Add dill dip to 1 package of softened cream
cheese. Lay a very thin piece of salmon or
lox on the cream cheese. Garnish with a fresh
tiny sprig of dill if desired. Great on crackers
or for finger sandwiches.
3. Cucumber Dill Salad
2 Large cucumbers thinly sliced
2 Tbsp Dill mix
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1 Tbsp sugar
Mix in a small bowl the cider vinegar, dill
mix and sugar until sugar is dissolved. Let
stand for one hour and then mix well again.
Pour over cucumber slices and toss.
4. Ham and Dill Cream Cheese Spread
1 pckg. of softened cream cheese
1 (8oz) cup of sour cream
½ pckg. Dill Dip mix
2 package (2 ½ oz each) deli ham- chopped
2-3 green onions, thinly sliced bagels, crackers,
or tortillas
In a small mixing bowl, combine the cream
cheese, sour cream, and dill dip until smooth.
Stir in ham and onions. Serve with bagels,
crackers, or on tortillas- roll up and cut.
